* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) North Miami-Dade, Florida — On October 1st, 2025, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper spotted a white Honda speeding along the shoulder of Interstate 95 near Northwest 151st Street in Miami-Dade County. The car, driven by 19-year-old Abel Campos of Hialeah, was weaving through traffic and ignoring safety laws as it passed vehicles on the shoulder. When the trooper activated his lights and siren to pull the driver over, Campos refused to stop and instead accelerated, setting off a dangerous high-speed pursuit. The chase continued into a construction zone where Campos maneuvered through dirt and heavy machinery before turning around and driving the wrong way on the interstate. During the pursuit, Campos’ white Honda hit bumps in the construction area and briefly went airborne before being rammed by a trooper’s cruiser using a PIT maneuver. After the crash, Campos exited the vehicle and was taken into custody without further incident. Campos was booked into jail and is facing charges of fleeing and attempted eluding at a high speed and reckless driving with damage.
