Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-2110 Mat’s flown over to the Paul Ricard circuit in France, and he’s about to get his hands on the most powerful Bugatti ever made - the Bugatti Bolide! A few months back, he was offered the chance to have a passenger ride in one around the Spa Francorchamps circuit, but now he’ll be able to drive one himself, along with Bugatti’s test driver, Andy Wallace. What makes the Bolide the most extreme track car ever built? Well, for starters, it shares the same incredible 8-litre quad-turbo W16 engine as found in the Bugatti Chiron Supersport. That means it produces 1,600hp and 1,600Nm, and it comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. However, so many other components on the Bolide are different. For starters, it has a bespoke carbon fibre chassis, along with a full body made out of carbon fibre. It comes with unique carbon-carbon brakes, and the weight has been dropped to around 1,600kg - this means it has a power-to-weight ratio of 1,000hp per tonne! Mat has set himself one target for this experience - he wants to see if he can beat the top speed set by Andy on Paul Ricard’s 1.2 mile straight! So will he be able to get the most out of this £4,200,000 beast? You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!
