Prince Andrew told Jeffrey Epstein “we are in this together” in a February 2011 email, three months after he claimed to have cut ties with the convicted sex offender. The message, sent a day after the photo of Andrew with Virginia Giuffre was published, contradicts his 2019 Newsnight claim that he ended contact in December 2010. In the email, the Duke of York wrote: “Don’t worry about me! It would seem we are in this together... keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.” The revelation reignites scrutiny over Andrew’s links to Epstein and piles pressure on the Royal Family.
